[My photo] Well, sometimes I look better... As a matter of fact, some have said that the picture on the left does not work well as a self-advertisement (whatever that may mean). To make things clear: that's Coke in the glass, and I'm unhappy about facing a four hour drive back to Boston from NYC. [Blue Ribbon Logo] Stop the kittyporn!

This link points to a collection of KOI-8 (Internet's standard for cyrillics) fonts for X-Windows. Feel free to ask me what to do with them ;) Since the end of October, the web-server I am honored to administer, serves this fonts to everyone smart enough to use X-Windows. To use it (assuming typical case, of course) type

	xset +fp tcp/www.video-collage.com:7100
Be sure not to bother the X-server with any activity until the xset returns. If you are short on X-server's memory, try 7101 instead -- you'll only get the fixed subset of fonts. This will prepend your X-server's font-path with the entry, which will cause the X-server to request additional fonts from our machine via X Font Server protocol (can your windowing environment do this?). If something does not work for you -- let me know. But please, check the xset's man-page first: man xset . If it works for you, we ask you to xhost + www.video-collage.com , so that we may easily contact you (by xmessage) in the event of changes in the font-service. I will try to make all I can to keep this service running well, but neither me nor Video Collage, Inc. shall be responsible for any damage caused to you by this service (or it's sudden dissapearence). Please, please, install this fonts on your machine as soon as you can.
This page evolves occasionally so you might want to check it once in a while.
